Re: Henderson
Henderson is unremarkable and does the water carrier bit, I'd rather have drinkwater. Woy will replace Henderson with a similar player /take a punt on the perma injured wilshere. He clearly doesn't see Nobel as a fit for England - not enough of an athlete?? In woys eyes? Thing is England can't defend against a decent team even with 2 screening MFs id rather see More attacking option in the squad a la Albrighton.

Re: Henderson
Watched Henderson quite closely in the Dortmund game as my thoughts are that he lacks the FINESSE to be an international.

He surprised me in the first half when he did that Sir Trev thing of letting a ball run across him to dummy the defender behind him created some space about 30yds from goal. Interesting I thought.
He then thrashed the ball about 20yds over the bar so my initial thoughts were confirmed.
He is a plodder & England need more than that to get anywhere in France.

Re: Henderson
You're ALL wrong. Every single one of you.

He will replaced by...........

Henderson.

Woy doesn't give a crap about taking players who are injured. We're going to have a squad with Shaw, Wilshere, Henderson etc.... and will be lucky if he can find 11 players actually capable of taking the field for the first game. We'll probably start with 3 goalkeepers just to make up the numbers (unless he's also taking Butland of course)

The man's a total idiot!

I think it's safe to say Noble will not be involved.

Re: Henderson
I'd rather it was Milner that was injured.Henderson offers a lot more. Henderson played well against Germany,Milner was dire against a poor Holland.

Re: Henderson
I don't really know any Liverpool fans to ask, or someone who watches them week in week out.. but I'd be interested to hear their views because my view is that Henderson seems quite an average player. Not saying he's bad, but this isn't a big loss for England.

True.

All he has to do is prove he can walk unaided and he'll be on the plane. Ridiculous, really.

Re: Henderson
He isn't good enough.

Agreed - but he was already in the squad and its only injury preventing him.

Re: Henderson
Either way Hodgson has some players he cant help picking despite every sign saying he shouldn't so injury is the only way he will pick a better player.
Henderson and Lallana are two of those players.

Re: Henderson
Good news about Henderson though. Shouldn't be in the team and I've no idea what they see in him, apart from the colour of his club shirt.

Never seen him have a good game.

Re: Henderson
Despite Roy's ignoring him, he's got to be close to the squad.

However, Wilshire will be straight back in the squad if he plays more than 5 minutes before may, so still no look in for Nobes.

Re: Henderson
As much as it would be a great recognition for Noble to be called up; I think it would be bad for him and bad for the club if he went just to sit on the bench or in the reserves.

I personally think he's better than Henderson and would probably take the opportunity and play very well.

Roy will stick with his little band of Spurs players as he likes club partnerships; until we crash out and he looks for his next fad club to pick players from.

Have a word Trev...

Injury or not he should not be in the squad he is shit. as for Noble being in the squad , Noble would have to score 50 worldies before that old twat picked him

Re: Henderson
This has got Lineker 86 lightweight cast wrote all over it... Luvvies at the FA and MotD will not hear anything of Noble heading over to France!

He will have to hand his passport in to the old bill 2 weeks before the tournament starts.
